Made in Canada
What’s in it for you?
– 75% of the purchase price (minus the taxes) is donated to organizations helping create a more just and equitable fossil-free world.
– The vitamin E-rich lucuri oil inside this balm helps to conserve the critically endangered Lear’s Blue Macaw bird species native to Brazil.
– Guayusa leaves are used to make an infusion with antioxidant properties. The leaves are purchased from an Indigenous owned community enterprise in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The enterprise is owned by 103 Kichwa families in the Orellana province. Together, they have combined their long-standing cultural relationship with guayusa with their community pride to create a business that improves livelihoods and conserves the Amazon rainforest.
– Name a more joyful duo. We’ve sparked this sunshine with the citrus cheer of our Sunnyside bubble bar.
Leaving the world Lusher than we found it
– Made with murumuru butter from Brazil and Peru support local communities by offering them an additional source of income and forest protection for the Amazon Rainforest, most biodiverse ecosystem in the world.
– Includes beautiful cupuaçu butter from the Amazon, which is grown in a regenerative agroforestry system.
– Our organic, fair trade cocoa butter supports smallholder farmers and local communities.- The moringa oil supports smallholder farmers with training on regenerative growing practices in Ghana and Uganda.
– Our buriti oil either comes directly from producers in Peru who are an NGO and social enterprise with the vision of empowering small-scale collectors and producers of raw materials from the Amazon and the Andean highlands, or from a producer who works with communities that carry out sustainable, non-timber activities in the North of Brazil.
